The first project is in the village of Nsambya, on the outskirts of Kampala. This village is in desperate need of clean drinking water. For $2,000 we can have pipes installed to connect Nsambya to Uganda's central water source and provide a large water tank to store clean water. We are currently about half way to our goal of being able to provide for this need.
Our second project is in the village of Wabukwa, where we have purchased land. We are happy to report that we have $3,000 to start work on the land next month! Kuyamba will be building a large pavilion-like structure that can be used for a variety of gatherings. Our hope is to get a weekly church gathering starting on Sundays in Wabukwa soon. While we have the funds to begin this work, we are seeking an additional $6,000 to complete the project that will include pouring a slab and foundation (approximately 20'X40' in size), building of columns and beams, and roofing.
