As we prepare for 2025, Kuyamba Ministries reflects on the incredible progress we’ve made together and the opportunities that lie ahead. With your support, we’ve been able to serve children and families in Uganda, but the need remains great. We humbly invite you to join us in continuing this life-changing work in the coming year. Here are four key areas where your support can make a difference:

• Sponsorship for Education: Kuyamba supported 40 children attending school this year, but six children living at Mama Scovia’s still need sponsors. Education is vital to breaking the cycle of poverty, and your sponsorship can open doors for these children.  ​
  
• Monthly Food Support: Kuyamba provides posho for the children at Mama Scovia’s every month, ensuring they receive the nutrition needed to grow and thrive.
  
• Robotics Education: Up to 100 children now attend our afternoon robotics classes at the Kuyamba House. This innovative program equips young learners with the skills they need for the future.  
  
• Village Missions: Kuyamba continues to reach out to villages, providing food, supplies, and prayer to those in desperate need. These missions deliver physical aid and the hope that comes with sharing the good news of Jesus.

 
The cost to fund these critical missions in 2025 is approximately $20,000, in addition to our school sponsorships. Your contribution can help us meet these needs and bring hope and transformation to even more lives. A team from the U.S. will return to Uganda in 2025, and we’d love for you to join us—whether by traveling with us or supporting our efforts from home. Hello Kuyamba Friends!
 
It has been an amazing year for Kuyamba! In November 2022 we had our first Medical Mission trip.
Our doctors saw 900 people in Wabukwa, where neighboring villages came together for two days.
Each person received a medical exam, medicine, vitamins, first aid & hygiene supplies, and more.
We also fed about 1,500 people during three feeding events.
There was a lot of prayer and a lot of worship, everywhere we went,
and it was a beautiful thing to witness and be a part of.  
 
We are looking forward to being back in Uganda on October 30!  
We have new developments to share with you –
new work that needs to be done and more lives to impact. We need your help –
both in prayer and financially – to continue the call God has placed on us.
 
Every time we are in Uganda, we find ourselves in awe of where God has brought us.
We can’t wait to be back in the place where our souls are set on fire!
 
Many of you have heard us talk about Mama Scovia. She is a woman of God in the purest sense and a pillar of faith.
She cared for Fiona before we adopted her. Mama Scovia has 37 kids in her home that she cares for.
On a late evening last November, our team sat in her living room with all of the kids as they sang for us, prayed for us,
and shared testimonies. What a humbling experience that was – the Holy Spirit stirring in our hearts!
It became clear that God was calling us to get all of the kids in her home sponsored for school.
A few short months later, all of the kids in her home are attending school.
Most of the kids now have long-term sponsors committed to seeing them through graduation.
We are still looking for sponsors for 6 kids – if you would like to come alongside one of these kids, please let us know.
We promise you will be blessed beyond measure!  
 
For many years, Kuyamba has been taking LEGO robotics kits for our team to use with the kids in Uganda.
We are thrilled to have a new partnership with Fun Bot Labs, from Arlington, Virginia.
They have provided us with lots of LEGO robotics kits, as well as support in renting a facility to house
Kuyamba Ministries in Gaba, Uganda. This January, our long-dreamed-of afterschool robotics program started.
Fun Bot Labs is committed to continuing to support Kuyamba as we provide this unique learning opportunity.
We have over 60 kids attending our program. With help from FTC 16501 Squirrel from GEARS,
and other donations, we were also able to purchase tables, chairs, a storage cabinet, and a large tent to use in our courtyard.
We are also working on a partnership to be able to offer a meal to each of the children who attend.
 
On our land in Wabukwa, we have been building a place for the community to gather and worship.
We have a 1,250-square-foot pavilion, latrines, and a large outdoor kitchen that can feed hundreds at a time.
Our next addition will be a sports field where the kids can come together and play.
We also are praying for support for a well on our land.  
 
Aside from this, our team continues its weekly missions each Saturday in villages,
where they hand out supplies and share the love of Jesus. 
We are blessed by a team of forty volunteers who make sure people are being served each week.
